Blues Jr Weber Blues Jr board This is a very cool, all tube 15watt amp. Look for the green circuit board, as opposed to the beige board. I added a Weber speaker, C12N undoped (go to Weber, Vintage series, scroll down to 12" Models, look under Ceramic for 12F150).

Also with the Blues Jr, there is a potential for the reverb to make some noise. You can put foil around the input jack. Read more at Bill's site. inputjack template

This is my version of the shield, from a Beamish beer can...it works great! I first made a paper template, just by pressing the paper around the jack, and folding the edges. Then, cut a section of the beer can with scissors, put the template on top, and cut. The "end" portion does have "fins" that tuck inside the outer shell of the red "Beamish" logo. Lastly, put some "plumbers goop" around the edges, to hold it in place. I've played many long gigs since then, and havent smelt any circuits burning, or seen any white flashes (uh, thats good). pedal pattio This is my pedal pattio, made with a thin 1/4" birch board, drilled holes for velcro (superglued one end of the velcro). The DOD volume is very cool, since its active.

...and this is the bottom, with mouse pads... electric bottom

earnie vol This Earnie Ball volume is cool...but, its heavy, it's passive...meaning that you might lose volume and frequency without having an electronic buffer (like the DOD volume), and...the range that you have to move your foot is rather "wide"...the DOD is narrow, so you can make quick volume swells.
