What I like about it

Bass

This is a great combination, the Ibanez SRX 300 bass, and the Ampeg BA 112 amp. Note that this one is made in China, which has the handle on top...the newer models have the handle on the side...though, most web sites don't show that view.

I once had a Henriksen JazzAmp guitar head, with Ampeg SVT-410HE Classic 4x10 cabinet. Yah, great tone, but, the cab is quite a load to carry around.

Amplifier

This is a very cool, all tube 15watt amp. Look for the green circuit board, as opposed to the beige board. I added a Vintage series, ceramic, 12" Weber speaker, C12N un-doped (12F150).

Also with the Blues Jr, there is a potential for the reverb to make some noise. You can put foil around the input jack. Read more at Bill's site.

This is my version of the shield, from a Beamish beer can...it works great! I first made a paper template, just by pressing the paper around the jack, and folding the edges. Then, cut a section of the beer can with scissors, put the template on top, and cut. The end portion does have "fins" that tuck inside the outer shell of the red Beamish logo. Finally, put some plumber's goop around the edges, to hold it in place. I've played many long gigs since then and haven't smelled burning circuits, or seen white flashes (that's good).

Pedal Patio

This is my pedal patio, made of 1/4" birch board, with drilled holes for velcro (superglued). The DOD volume is very cool, since its active.

...and this is the bottom, with mouse pads...
